We originally wanted to create simply a series of books in a recognisable format with each text Aside being linked by its title to its complimentary visual Scape. Although pleased with the outcome - and the published books - we both felt we wanted to add more to them.

Gradually, an idea began to form around a more multi-media form of presentation.  As we didn't want our work to be confined to only text and fixed visual representation, the idea of making short video films arose. 

By adding music and soundscapes to the spoken narration, we found it helped to enhance and contextualize the mood and atmosphere we wanted to create.  Each piece could then be viewed either separately as a single medium, or as part of a more multi-media project.
